Description
Ellanse S provides long-lasting restoration of facial volumes lost due to a lack of collagen.
This product relies on the body’s natural response to stimulate the skin, including the production of collagen.
Ellansé products guarantee visible and lasting results for 1 to 2 years ( Ellansé, S & M , respectively).
The Ellansé injection zone is located in the subcutaneous layer (hypodermis and supraperiosteum).
ELLANSÉ is a non-permanent, sterile, latex-free, pyrogen-free, totally resorbable implant, essentially composed of synthetic poly-ε-caprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a carrier gel composed of phosphate-buffered saline (Ph. Eur.), glycerine (Ph . Eur.) and carboxymethylcellubse (USP). PCL is a well-known totally resorbable flexible medical polymer. PCL has been used in many marketed resorbable products CE marked and cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for several decades worldwide and has shown an excellent safety profile. The particle size of ELLANSÉ is 25 to 50 microns and must be injected with a 27G needle.
Sinclair Ellanse S – Composition:
Ellanse (S&M) products consist of
- 70% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). CMC is the vector gel, it provides an immediate volumizing effect.
- 30% polycaprolactone (PCL) in the form of spherical particles (25 to 50 microns). The PCL microspheres provide a prolonged volumizing effect, taking over from the CMC gel.
These two substances are bioabsorbable, biocompatible, and totally degradable.
Ellansé is completely resorbable by hydrolysis.
Note that the difference between Ellansé S and Ellansé M lies in the difference in length of the polycaprolactone chains, which leads to more or less slow resorption (1 to 2 years respectively).
This product must be administered by authorized professionals.
