Desobody Love Cosmedical is the most recent innovation in terms of injection to dissolve localized body fat.
This is lipolytic injection, which destroys fat cells by damaging the fat cell membrane and liquefying the fat in the treatment area.
The destroyed fat cells are then broken down and eliminated naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.
It has proven to be safer, more effective and more comfortable than other older fat removers on the market.

Application Protocol
Injection of 1/2 ampoule every 10cm² of localized fat if the pinch test is less than 3 cm
Injection of one ampoule every 10cm² of localized fat if the pinch test is greater than 3 cm.
The protocol for optimal results is one session every 5-6 weeks .

Contraindications of DesoBody Love Cosmedical
- Pregnancy / Breastfeeding
- Injection site infection
- Inflammation of the targeted area

- Allergies to lidocaine and sodium deoxycholate,
- Blood clotting disorders
- Immunosuppression due to disease or medication
Other so-called relative contraindications: excessive skin laxity, body dysmorphism.
Undesirable side effects

Rare complications include:
- Depigmentation (<0.002%) usually temporary – avoid UV exposure.
- Allergy (<0.002%) which may require emergency treatment
- Damage to surrounding structures (<0.05%), including nerves, muscles, and blood vessels
- Nodules (<0.05%) are usually transient and disappear when fatty tissue is removed
- Skin necrosis (<0.0076%) skin lesions caused by solution reaction resulting in tissue death, blistering, peeling, infection, scarring.
- Unsatisfactory results including stubborn fat, asymmetry, irregularities, loose skin after treatment.
Please note that expectations must be measured, improvements will be slight to moderate and results cannot be guaranteed. There are also alternative procedures for fat removal either surgically or non-invasively.
Once treatment is complete, redness, mild to moderate swelling may occur as well as increased tenderness may occur at the injection site.
Sometimes patients may experience bruising that can last for a week or more. Rarely, nerves can be damaged, causing pain, numbness, tingling, hypersensitivity, altered sensation, which usually recovers over time.
Any exposure to the sun and to UVs in general must be avoided until the targeted area has fully recovered. Often mild pain may occur after treatment, it usually disappears within 2 to 3 days.
