TSK Steriglide Cannulas – Description

TSK Steriglide cannulas come from the Japanese TSK laboratory and are regularly used for mesotherapy sessions with hyaluronic acid-based products. TSK Steriglide cannulas generally allow injection into the superficial dermis more practical and simplified thanks to its patented tip which allows efficient gliding. Thus the penetration of the product is softer and reduces the risk of bruising.

Different models exist:

  • 22G x 70mm x 0.70 with included 21G x 1″ (0.80x25mm) needles

This cannula offers 50% more glide to reduce patient discomfort. Made of high quality steel with a surface treatment, it reduces friction with the skin while improving handling. Thanks to its hard polymer tip and its clear side marking, it offers a better hold and a visual aid for a more precise injection. In box of 20.

The cannula is usually inserted through a single entry point, and the length of cannula chosen helps determine the safest incision area. Note that the cannula can bend in particular around the tissues, spread the blood vessels including the nerves, unlike a needle which it would pass through.

This is the great advantage of the cannula: it reduces pain and can also reduce post-treatment recovery, for greater comfort both for the patient and for the practitioner authorized to perform this type of injection.

These cannulas also make it possible to diffuse in a wider area than with a simple needle.
