Component characteristics
Whiterose:
Polydioxanone is prepared from the polymer poly(p-dioxanone). It has a tensile strength that is maintained for several days after the intervention. This monofilament suture is absorbable, non-pyrogenic and non-antigenic. It is generally tolerated by reconstructive surgery patients. It takes more than 220 days for it to be completely resorbed.
The notched structure of the White Rose tensor thread guarantees good maintenance of the stitches thanks to the anchoring. It is ensured that the thread does not slip.
White rose protocol for use
White Rose Sutures (PDO Nose Cog) should be used in a sterile environment. It is essential that they are carried out by medical professionals qualified in cosmetic surgery.
The use of a Cog structure suture requires great care not to damage the serrated structure. The latter guarantees the fixation of the wire in the skin.
20 minutes before the procedure, the application of an anesthetic cream on the area to be treated is recommended for the patient’s comfort
