Cingal Syringe is recommended as a viscoelastic supplement or synovial fluid substitute for human joints, providing rapid and long-lasting relief from symptoms related to joint conditions such as osteoarthritis. This product works long-term by providing relief through lubrication and mechanical support, while also providing short-term pain relief through other diamcinolone hexacetonides.

It combines a rapid-acting anti-inflammatory (corticosteroid) with hyaluronic acid, the effect of which lasts for up to 6 months.

Cingal syringe active ingredients:

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) gel with added corticosteroid (triamcinolone hexacetonide).

• Gcrosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA): naturally present in the synovial fluid of the knee, is injected into the joint by viscosupplementation. This procedure lubricates the cartilage, similar to the oil that lubricates the workings of an engine, leading to long-lasting pain relief.
• Corticosteroid (triamcinolone hexacetonide): like cortisone, have anti-inflammatory properties. By reducing swelling at the joint, they provide rapid pain relief.

Usage tips :

• Inject Cingal directly into the selected joint space using a sterile, disposable hypodermic needle of recommended gauge (18-21).
• Apply health center approved aseptic technique to insert the sterile needle into the Cingal syringe.
• Leave the responsibility for the final choice of needle for the procedure to the doctor.
• Ensure that the needle is correctly positioned in the synovial space of the joint before performing the Cingal injection.

A joint injection can last up to 6 months.
